Our home is at Shurdington Nurseries in Little Shurdington, Cheltenham—a small but special parcel of land that has been in our family since 1999. What was once a derelict wholesale nursery has, over the years, been carefully reclaimed and reshaped into the thriving, hardworking site you see today.

OUR HISTORY
From Humble Roots to Trusted Supply
Our story is a personal one. A lifelong passion for landscaping and horticulture began in childhood, working alongside a father whose enthusiasm for plants and the land was both inspiring and infectious. That passion naturally grew into a professional path, leading to a first-class honours degree in Landscape Architecture and, in 2001, a return to the family site to help rebuild, refine, and reimagine its purpose.
Today, that journey continues as a family-run business, and I have the genuine privilege of working closely alongside my wife, Nichola, whose role is central to everything we do. Her dedication, organisation, and natural way with people help shape both the day-to-day running of the business and the experience our customers receive. Together, we’ve built something we’re truly proud of, supported by a small, hardworking team who share our values and commitment. And, of course, no introduction would be complete without Tiggs, our resident cat, who chose Shurdington Nurseries as his home back in 2015 and has been part of the fabric of the place ever since.
We bring together not just products, but knowledge—years of hands-on experience that simply can’t be taught in a classroom. From plants, compost, and bark mulches to practical advice and support, we take pride in helping our customers find exactly what they need, whether they’re seasoned professionals or passionate home gardeners.
