- Drill holes from above around the entire circumference of the stump, spacing them 6–7 cm apart.
- Drill each hole to a depth of 30–35 mm using a 13 mm drill bit (for best results, use the recommended drill bit).
- Insert one Ecoplug Max into each hole with the thicker end facing outward.
- Using a hammer, drive the plug fully into the hole until the head seals it.
- As the plug is driven in, it bursts internally, releasing the glyphosate into the stump.
